Shiwan kiln products mostly use local clay, the shape of the object is thick, the fetal bone is dark gray, and a small amount of color is white or red. The glaze is thick and smooth, and the glaze is colorful. There are green, black, red, yellow, blue and white. Purple and so on. Due to different formulas, these colored glazes have different shades, so they have a variety of colors. Only green glazes have holly, pink, mulberry, and plum green. Among these glaze colors, the most varied is the blue glaze, the so-called "the kiln is purple, the Guangyao is blue". In addition, rose purple, green hair and other colors are also good. The most precious is the "Sancha Flower Glaze", which is the carambola glaze. It is in the light blue or red glaze layer, which is densely covered with sesame-like purplish red, elegant and delicate, extremely rare. In the kiln color-changing glaze of the imitation kiln, there is a kind of squid-like white-green sap in the blue glaze. It is called “rain wall” and looks like a thousand feet and a horse.

Shiwan Kiln's performance themes and utensils are very rich, with figures, black beasts, antique utensils and imitation of various kiln products, architectural decoration pieces and so on. At present, the products of the Ming Dynasty include imitation ear pots, long-necked bottles, enamel bottles, three-legged stoves, etc. The glaze is solemn, with blue glaze, green hair blue, yellow sauce and beige glaze. There are many glazes in the glaze; the statues of the characters include the city, the land gate, the gods and the Buddha, etc. The expressions are single, the characters lack individuality, and the face is decorated with thick glaze, and the facial features are blurred. In the Qing Dynasty, the various types of Shiwan Kiln were complete, and the glaze color was all there. The characters were freehand and expressive. In addition to the gods and Taoist priests, there were many images of the working people. Compared with the Ming Dynasty pottery, the characters' faces are no longer glazed, but the facial features are depicted in various colors. The whole image focuses on the facial expressions and personality characteristics of the characters. All kinds of characters are shaped to be full of enthusiasm and lifelike.
