Japan Toray developed a special anti-static yarn super "PAREL"

Toray Chemical Fiber Textile Group announced that the Group has successfully developed the super "Parel," which is a high performance anti-static polyester interlining cloth, even in low temperature and low humidity conditions, are not prone to static electricity. The new product will serve as a new high-performance liner, utilizing Toray's sales channels exclusively for the winter of 2008, and Toray's sales channels will dominate the lining market. Toray Chemical Fiber Textile Group expects to sell 3 million meters of super "Parel" in its first year and 6 million meters annually for the next three years. The development of the super "Parel" was based on a new special anti-static yarn developed by Toray Industries. This yarn has a high concentration of proprietary antistatic agents, the company after many years of control static research, the antistatic agent into the fiber. Often, it is difficult to blend any high concentration of heterogeneous ingredients into synthetic fibers in the manufacturing process as it can be a major barrier to stable production and consistent quality. The new product will help Toray Textile Group to expand sales of advanced lining materials worldwide, including cold and dry Asia, North America and Europe.
