From the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Tsinghua University and Chemical Industry The senior experts of the institute and other authoritative organizations have fully affirmed the PP automotive special materials produced by the polypropylene business department. They believe that the performance indicators of the special materials have reached the technical requirements of the national research and contract, and have advanced domestic and international similar products. The level can meet the requirements of domestic users and meet the development direction of automotive copolymer PP resin, which can completely replace imported products.
In order to replace imported products with domestically produced automotive PP special materials, the Yanhua Polypropylene Business Unit has undertaken the project of “National “Ninth Five-Year Plan†research project “development and industrial production of medium- and high-flow copolymerized PP for automobiles†since 1997. In the past few years, the Yanhua Polypropylene Business Unit and the Resin Institute have jointly developed the production process technology for medium and high flow copolymerization of PP in the 40,000-ton PP production plant. With the best additive formula, the polymerization and fabrication have been overcome. Granules and operation problems have formed a complete production process technology, and successfully produced three grades of copolymer polypropylene PP1340, PP1540 and PP1740 for automobiles, with stable product quality and performance. Mainly used in automotive battery casings, some automotive interior parts, car bumpers, instrument panels and door liners. After the products were put on the market, they have won praises from the use of automobile manufacturers, and have replaced imported products for the preparation of auto parts, which has created huge economic benefits for enterprises.
