(e) Medium and long fiber fabrics

1. Medium and long fiber fabrics

Medium-length fiber refers to a fiber between wool and cotton chemical fiber. It is not a new breed of chemical fiber. It can be processed from a variety of chemical fibers. Its length and fineness are both between cotton fiber and wool fiber. Therefore, there are medium and long fibers such as viscose medium long fibers, rich and medium long fibers, and polyester, brocade, nitrile, acrylic, chlorine, and vinylon. The characteristics of various types of chemical fiber and long fiber fabrics are summarized and the following conclusions are drawn:

(1) The medium-long fiber fabric has good elasticity and does not easily wrinkle when worn.

(2) The medium-long fiber fabrics are stiff and full-feeling, and they can maintain their smoothness as new and strong hair-like features after multiple washings.

(3) The long-fiber fabrics have a smooth feel, a small shrinkage rate, and are not easily deformed after being dressed.

2. Medium and long fiber fabrics

There are many varieties of medium and long fiber fabrics, mainly polyester, viscose blended fabrics and "three in one" fabrics.

(1) Polyester-nitrile long-length fabrics are blended with polyester/nitrile ratio of 50:50 or 60:40, such as polyester-nitrile blended medium-length concealed strips, with a hairy sensation, crisp body, and anti-wrinkle, which is mid-range The ideal fabric for the jacket selection.

(2) Polyester-viscose medium-length fabrics are blended with a polyester/viscose ratio of 55:45 or 65:35. For example, a long plain weave with polyester and viscose blends, whose style characteristics are similar to those of the above-mentioned concealed strips, is also a kind of imitation that is popular among the public. Hair type products are commonly used for spring and autumn outerwear.

(3) "Three-in-one" fabrics are made of polyester, nitrile and viscose, and they are made of three kinds of medium-long fibers. The fabrics have the characteristics of three kinds of fibers, and they are moderate in price. They are suitable for suits, jackets and trousers.

(vi) New chemical fiber fabrics

1. The characteristics of new chemical fiber fabrics

The so-called new chemical fiber fabrics, from the consideration of raw materials, should be attributed to the above-mentioned various types of fiber fabrics. However, because these fabrics show unique novelty in terms of appearance style, processing characteristics and wearing performance, they are listed separately so that we can better understand and use them. New chemical fiber fabrics have the following features:

(1) Fibers have a novel structure and novel physical mechanical and aesthetic properties.

(2) Fabrics made of different components, consisting of different fineness, shrinkage, and cross-sectional shape, are woven into a heterogeneous composition and have unique appearance, feel and special performance. These heterogeneous filaments include air network filaments, twisted textured filaments, fancy filaments, cored filaments, and wrapped elastic filaments.

(3) The trend of multi-functionalization is obvious. It is suitable for special industrial applications and is more suitable for taking textiles, especially fashion materials.

2. New varieties of synthetic fabrics

Due to the modification treatment and deformation processing of chemical fiber, the variety of new chemical fiber fabrics has been increasing. Here, some of the more popular varieties on the market are described in order to achieve broaden their horizons and grasp the fashion trend.

(1) Acetate fabrics: Acetate fabrics are more commonly known as acetate fabrics. They are made from natural wood and other cellulosic fibres. They are man-made cellulose fibres. Many of their properties are similar to those of viscose fibres. The difference is that elasticity is superior to viscose. Therefore, garments made therefrom have good dimensional stability and are less prone to creases.

(2) Lycra Fabric: Also known as Lycra Fabric (LYCRA), is an elastic fabric made by DuPont firstly, namely spandex fabric. Due to the use of a small amount of Leica fiber, the style of the garment can be kept constant, and the excellent drape performance that can not be achieved by conventional stiffening textiles can be achieved. Therefore, it has become a new hot spot for apparel fabrics. Currently Lycra fiber fabrics have been widely used in the fields of clothing, swimming and sports, especially in the hosiery and tights market.

(3) "Luo Xi" fiber fabric: Transliteration from "RAYON". Is a viscose fiber fabric, its unique processing method, the fabric has a shiny color effect, it has become a very good fashion fabric.

(4) Triacetate-polyamide-like wool fabric: a heterogeneous silk fabric formed by combining triacetate textured yarn and polyamide core yarn, which has a very good appearance of the effect of wool-like, even more than combed wool fabric, on clothing Is widely used.

(5) Tencel fiber fabric: It is an environment-friendly "green fiber" fabric that is popular today, and it is a commercial name of Lyocell fiber. A new type of regenerated cellulose fiber, invented and authorized by the Dutch company AKZO, has been authorized by Courtaulds of the United Kingdom. Its fiber morphology and processing are similar to those of synthetic fibers, thus combining the excellent properties of fiber and natural fiber. Similar to the cotton fiber comfort, but also because of its strength and polyester like to make it stronger than the cotton fiber and viscose fiber. The conformity and drapability of the finished garments are excellent.

Section IV Other Apparel Fabrics 1. Knitted Garment Fabrics Garment fabrics can be classified into woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, and non-woven fabrics depending on the textile process. The apparel fabrics described above are woven fabrics in which the warp yarns and weft yarns are vertically interwoven, and the knitted fabrics are different from the knitted fabrics. It is formed by looping knitting needles and the like to make the yarns form a loop and interpenetrate each other. Knitted fabrics have always been used to make underwear because of their good elasticity, extensibility and softness. However, with the development of textile science and technology and the improvement of the level of craftsmanship, as well as the transformation and renewal of people's ideas, today's knitwear apparel has gone from the past. The underwear developed into outerwear. At the same time, knitted fabrics have also been widely used in decorative articles, industrial dust filter cloths and medical and health products. All this shows that the knitwear material has developed rapidly and its variety is extremely rich and varied.
